For the last few years, I've offered free coaching in August. I'm going to do it again. I know it's only July, but August will be here before we know it. Click here to sign up. Why do I do this? 1. I like to coach people. Through coaching with me, people are able to improve their "it" -- work, relationships, parenting, mapping a plan for the future. I love being able to help make those changes happen. 2. Not sure I need a number 2. But, Why August? I am usually not traveling, my schedule is more open, the days are long and it's really hot here. Seems like a good time to have some Zoom calls. Okay, that's about it. Want to try coaching with a nice lesbian? Click here to pick a time. More about me: I'm 62. I was raised in Oklahoma, the youngest of three and the only girl. I came out in 1986. My wife and I have been together since 1991. We had and raised our two young adult sons who like to spend time with us even though they don't have to. (We had some tough years, but our kids are really amazing.) In my work career, I helped people with AIDS long before there were good treatments, I ran an LGBTQIA community center, I worked in public TV and radio, I was a director of gardening programs at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and I was a communications director for Beyond Celiac. Currently, in addition to coaching, I'm a program director at a community foundation, which means I facilitate awarding grants and scholarships in my county. I recently got licensed as consultant for the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofits Standards for Excellence. I've been doing individual and group coaching since 2012, first to help people manage the gluten-free diet, then as a health coach, then as a life-relationship-career etc coach. I was certified by The Life Coach School in 2021. I've been sober for 35 years. I've been a vegetarian since 1992. I have a coach myself. Many days, I bring great intention to diet and exercise. I fix bikes. I like DIY projects, especially if they involve power tools and/or clever problem-solving. I manage persistent depressive disorder. I am on the board of my local lesbian running club. I play mandolin in a guitar and mandolin orchestra. Did I mention I like to coach?
